The first meeting of the Circolo Italiano di Harvard will be held at 8.15 o'clock Monday evening in the Faculty Room of the Union. The meeting will be an open one, and all members of the University are invited to attend.

Marquis Ferrante di Ruffano, Professor G. L. Piana, Professor G. B. Weston '97, and Professor E. K. Rand '94 will be the speakers Monday evening. They will be introduced by the president of the Circolo, A. G. R. Zottoll 2L. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting.

The Circolo Italiano di Harvard was founded in 1903 for the purpose of bringing together all members of the University who are interested in Italy and in things Italian, and for promoting the exchange of students between Italian universities and Harvard. A scholarship fund for an exchange student is maintained by the Circolo, largely from the proceeds of a play or a ball given annually in the spring.

This year for the first time the Circolo has been able to secure a room wherein to center its activities. The room has been appropriately decorated, and stocked with books and reading matter. It will be opened to members in a short time.
