HONOR TO THOSE--

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Every son of John Harvard is justly proud of the Harvard team which, in the face of depressing jibes and criticisms of sporting writers, played a spirited game of football in the Brown Stadium on Saturday, and brought away the laurels of victory.

To the lovers of sport for sport's sake, defeat is not always bitter, for it may be tempered with satisfaction over a clean contest nobly fought. Under the same conditions of play, however, victory is doubly sweet.

All glory to the men who staged this comeback. May their mettle again mount to the occasion when Harvard meets Yale next Saturday, and may the same success crown their efforts!
