APOLOGY FOR THESE--

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Many sons of John Harvard are justly ashamed of the spirit of vandalism which displayed itself in the destruction of goal posts in the Brown Stadium on Saturday.

Theorists are fond of urging in defense of sport that athletics promote courtesy and fair play--certainly indispensable qualities in men of good breeding.
