The appointment of temporary captains of the upper class football teams was announced yesterday by Coach J. L. Knox '98, of the Second team.
R. K. Hudner '26, a tackle, was placed in charge of the Senior team for the time being. The temporary Junior class team's leader is H. S. Satterlee '27, a quarterback, while a lineman C. A. Allen '28, will be captain of the Sophomore eleven temporarily.
Coach Knox also announced the schedule of the interclass series, which will last slightly more than two weeks Games will be played on Mondays and Fridays. The schedule follows:
October 19, Freshman vs. Sophomores.
October 23, Seniors vs. Juniors.
October 26, Freshmen vs. Seniors.
October 30, Sophomores vs. Juniors.
November 2, Freshmen vs. Juniors.
November 6, Sophomores vs. Seniors.
Yesterday afternoon a number of class team candidates practiced in the corner of Soldier's Field near the Locker Building. Lack of equipment kept the total number of candidates low, but it is hoped that there will be sufficient equipment this afternoon.
