Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
First round matches in the University tennis tournament, which was scheduled for yesterday, have been postponed until the weather permits play on the courts. Two days will be given to play off preliminary matches and all results must be posted by the evening of the second day or penalty of disqualification.
The draw, which is posted in Harry Cowles' store, gives the results of the first drawing along with a list of the seeded players in both doubles and singles.
In the singles the following eight men were seeded and will not meet each other in the early rounds: Alden Briggs 1G.B., W. L. Coleman 3L.; Samuel Fitch 1G.B., L. H. Gordon '27, P. M. Lenhart '27, G. N. Perkins '26, W. T. Smith '26, and J. F. W. Whitbeck '27.
In the doubles, the seeded teams are W. L. Coleman 3L, and Louis White 1L.; Alden Briggs 1G.B. and G. H. Perkins '26, J. F. W. Whitbeck '27 and L. O. Pratt '26, L. H. Gordon '27 and P. M. Lenhart '27, last year's champions.
