1929 ELECTS FRENCH TO LEAD FOOTBALL ELEVEN

Arthur Eugene French '29 of Winchester was elected captain of the Freshman football team yesterday afternoon.

French, who prepared at Worcester Academy, has been starring at halfback for the 1929 team. His punting has been exceptionally good, and he scored two touchdowns in the game with Worcester last Saturday.

French played two years for Worcester and was captain of the track team there. He is a capable sprinter and broadjumper. He is 19 years old, 5 feet 11 inches in height, and weighs 170 pounds.
