PROHIBITION AGENTS DO NOT INTEND ATTACK ON HARVARD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The rumor current yesterday in the club district that prohibition enforcement agents, working in conjunction with the College authorities, would shortly attempt to stamp out drinking in the University, was emphatically denied by George Parker Federal Prohibition Enforcement Agent in New England. Inquiries at the Dean's Office also failed to produce anything but denials on the part of College authorities.

George Parker refused to see a CRIMSON reporter, and would make no statement other than deny that Harvard Square would be singled out for a series of raids. "I don't know where this rumor come from," Mr. Parker told the CRIMSON over the telephone, "I have not conferred with the Dean's office, and we are not planning to single out Harvard in our attempts to enforce prohibition. If Harvard men violate the law, we'll get after them, but I don't know anything about a special campaign."
