DARTMOUTH GAME CROWD GIVEN TRAFFIC LESSON

MULTITUDINOUS REGULATIONS FOR MOTORISTS MADE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With every seat in the Stadium taken for the first time this year, the Athletic Association and police officials of Boston and Cambridge have made extensive preparations to handle the crowds that will flock to the University-Dartmouth encounter tomorrow.

The police have announced that after 1 o'clock Harvard Square from Quincy to Brattle Street, Boylston Street, the Anderson Bridge, and North Harvard Street will be closed to automobile traffic.

Two Gates Open for Autos

Gates 12 and 13 are the only ones that will be open to automobiles, and automobiles must reach them by way of Allston, on the Boston side of the River.

Before the game, from 1.30 to 2.30 o'clock, and after the game, the Cottage Farm Bridge will be open only to traffic bound for Boston; the temporary bridge at the same hours being reserved for automobiles that are bound for Cambridge.

Taxis Unload at Harvard Street

Taxis and other automobiles which do not intend to park, may unload their passengers, if coming from Brighton, at North Harvard Street about 200 yards from Gate 8 if coming from Boston, at De Wolfe Square on the Parkway about 300 yards below the Anderson Bridge on the Cambridge side.

After the game all cars parked within the Soldiers Field enclosure and on the Boston Parkway must leave by the Parkway westward. Cars parked within the enclosure on the Stadium Street side of Soldiers Field may, however, proceed west along North Harvard Street.

The police again warn all automobilists that cars must be removed from the parking spaces before it is time to have headlights lit. The law regarding the lighting of automobiles will be, as usual, strictly enforced. Motorists are also warned again against leaving their cars in charge of boys who want to "mind your car" as several thefts have occurred in this way.

The Atheletic Association has also announced its arrangements for the game. The opening whistle is scheduled to blow at 2.30 o'clock, and the gates will be opened at 1 o'clock.

Ticket holders should enter as follows: Sections 23-37  Gate 1 Sections 38-51  Gate 2 Sections 1-13  Gate 4 Sections 14-22  Gate 6 Standing Room  Gate 4

No One Admitted Without Ticket

No tickets will be on sale at the field or at the H. A. A. offices, and no one, pedestrian or motorist, will be admitted within the enclosure without a ticket.

Ticket holders who park their cars in the private parking field or on the Brighton playground off Western Avenue, may enter through Gate 9, at the Southern corner of the field. Those parking their cars on the Metropolitan Parkway in Brighton may enter either through Gate 14 or Gate 19, the latter opposite the Newell Boat House.

Must Stay Out of Aisles

Spectators must keep their seats until the game is over unless they leave the field entirely. No one will be allowed to stand in the aisles or entrances while the game is in progress.

As the privilege of leaving the Stadium enclosure and returning on the stubs has been abused by persons bringing in outsiders on extra stubs, the Athletic Association has been compelled to honor no longer stubs for admittance to the enclosure.

Passes Must be Shown

Holders of special auto passes admitting their cars through Gate 20, are warned that they must present their passes for the inspection of ticket takers. No exception to this rule can be made, and all automobiles without such passes will positively be refused entrance to the field.

Information, registration, doctor's, and Lost and Found booths are located inside of Gate 4.
