MUSICAL CLUBS OPEN SEASON WITH CONCERT FRIDAY NIGHT

Gold Coast Orchestra Will Make Debut Over Before Dance

The University Glee and Instrumental Clubs will give their annual combined concert with Dartmouth tomorrow evening in Symphony Hall at 8.15 o'clock.

The feature of the evening will be the first public appearance of the Gold Coast Orchestra, made up of members of the University Instrumental Clubs. They will play the "Kammenai-Ostrow" of Polla, and Green's "My Sweetie Turned Me Down", and will work in competition with Dartmouth's well known Barbary Coast Orchestra. Numbers on the program of the Mandolin and Banjo Clubs include "Thousand and One Nights", "Officers of the Day March" by Sousa, and a medley of Harvard Football songs. The Instrumental Clubs will be represented by 70 men picked from among their best members.
