Two of the four semi-final positions in the University tennis tournament have been captured by L. H. Gordon '27 and Alden Briggs 1G.B., and the remaining two will be decided today. Briggs won his way into the semi-final round yesterday with a decisive two-set win over S. A. Fitch 1L., 6-2, 6-1. The winner was on the top of his game, making beautiful placement shots and passing Fitch at the net repeatedly.
On the doubles competition L. O. Pratt '26 and J. F. W. Whitbeck '27 disposed of Nathaniel Hamlen '27 and A. R. Allen Jr. '26 without much difficulty, after a slow start. L. H. Gordon '27 and P. M.
