Two of the four semi-final positions in the University tennis tournament have been captured by L. H. Gordon '27 and Alden Briggs 1G.B., and the remaining two will be decided today. Briggs won his way into the semi-final round yesterday with a decisive two-set win over S. A. Fitch 1L., 6-2, 6-1. The winner was on the top of his game, making beautiful placement shots and passing Fitch at the net repeatedly.

On the doubles competition L. O. Pratt '26 and J. F. W. Whitbeck '27 disposed of Nathaniel Hamlen '27 and A. R. Allen Jr. '26 without much difficulty, after a slow start. L. H. Gordon '27 and P. M. Lenhart '27 rushed through their match with the loss of only one game. Gordon and Lenhart will meet T. E. Jansen Jr. '26 and W. T. Smith '26 for a semi-final place.

In the singles, Lenhart will play W. L. Coleman 3L., and Smith will meet Whitbeck for the remaining two berths in the round before the finals.
