Willard Lewis Tibbetts Jr. '26, of Boston, has been appointed Head Cheer Leader, it was announced last night. With the close of the competition which has been conducted this fall, four other men were also announced as having won positions as cheer leaders. They are Thayer Cummings '26, of Bedford Hills, N. Y.;
Eilaworth Charles Haggerty '27, of Allston; Albert Henry O'Neil '28, of Jamaica Plain, and John Nickerson Watters '26, of Winchester. These appointments are subject to the approval of the Student Council.
The squad of five will practice an hour every afternoon, and will be placed in full charge of the cheering on Saturday.
