It was announced last night that the funeral of E. S. Sheldon '72, late Professor of Romance Philology at the University, who died yesterday morning, would be held on Monday at 2 o'clock at the chapel at the Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Whitbeck, who has had a brilliant tennis career both at school and college, and who is now captain of the University tennis team is favored to reach the semi-finals.
