Special stands are being erected in order to accommodate the large number of Freshmen expected to attend the 1929-Exeter football game on Soldiers Field next Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. The Student Council Committee on Freshman Affairs are also arranging to have the Freshman cheering section led by four of the University cheerleader candidates.
Assistant Deans E. A. Whitney '17 and Elliott Perkins '23 have signified their intention of being present in the cheering sections for the first game of the Freshman season on Soldiers Field. Freshmen will be admitted to the game on their regular H. A. A. season tickets.
The four candidates who will lead the 1929 cheering when not on duty at the University-Holy Cross game inside the Stadium are: E. W. Martin '26, A. H. O'Neil '28, K. N. Rogers '26, and J. N. Watters '26.
