1928 BUSINESS EXPERTS GET FINAL OPPORTUNITY

ELEVEN-WEEK COMPETITION CALLS FOR NO NIGHT WORK

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The final CRIMSON business competition for the Sophomore class will begin at a meeting of all candidates at the CRIMSON Building at 7 o'clock, Friday evening, October 16. The corresponding competition for Sophomores in past years has begun the week of the opening of college. This year the competition has been postponed until next Friday because the business board had more advertising than they needed with which to begin the year.

The work to be done in this competition which will last approximately 11 weeks, and which requires no previous experience, will involve mainly the solicitation of advertisements. Little routine work will be connected with the competition. Office duties will be very light and there will be no night work.

The candidates who are fortunate enough to make the board, after a brief respite from work, will compete for the position of assistant business manager. The winers of this competition will be appointed at the end of the college year. They will immediately take office and compete during their Junior year for the highest position in the department, that of business manager. The business manager holds office his Senior year.
