It is occasionally necessary to withhold good communications because they are too long for publication. The CRIMSON solicits a free expression of opinion upon matters of general interest to the University, but lack of space makes it imperative that all communications be short and to the point. As a rule, three hundred words is the upper limit. A subject must be one of unusual gravity which cannot be treated within this limit.
