Professor Theodore G. Soares of the University of Chicago will speak tomorrow evening in Peabody Hall of Phillips Brooks House at 7.30 o'clock on "The Significance of the Fosdick Controversy."
This is the third of a series of lectures which has been given this year under the auspices of the Undergraduate Speakers Committee of Phillips Brooks House.
Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick gave the second address of the series on December 15. He spoke on "The Need of Modern Religious Leadership."
Because of the great interest manifested by students in the University over this church struggle between those who uphold the theory of evolution and those who denounce it, Professor Soares consented to talk about the Fosdick controversy and undertake to bring out the fact that religion and modern science can be harmonized.
The meeting tomorrow evening will be held for members of the University only.
