With a meeting of all candidates this afternoon in Newell boathouse at 4.30 o'clock, fall rowing in the University will officially begin. The meeting will be addressed by Captain S. B. Kelley '25, Coaches E. J. Brown, and F. W. Spuhn. Coach Stevens is expected to arrive in Cambridge Thursday to take charge personally of the first work-out.
The first meeting of candidates for the Freshman crew will be held in Smith Halls Common Room. Thursday evening, at 7.15 o'clock. Coach Herbert Haines, and his two assistants. A. L. Hobson Jr. '24, and J. R. Hoover '24 will address the meeting. Work on the machines and in the boats will begin as soon as possible with the reporting of candidates.
