DUNKER ELECTED TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN OF NEW COUNCIL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a meeting of the newly elected members of the 1924-25 Student Council held last night in the Crimson Sanctum, Henry Traugott Dunker '26 of Davenport, Iowa, was elected temporary chairman.

The duties of the new chairman will be to take care of any emergencies that may arise and to make arrangements next fall for the election of the three Seniors and two Juniors who will complete the Council. These five men will be elected by the ten men already chosen by popular vote, and emphasis presumably will be placed rather on merit than on popularity.
