New Haven, May 8.--The Yale baseball nine trimmed Washington and Lee today, 10 to 3. Pond was very effective in the pinches and an entire new batting order which will be used against Holy Cross on Saturday, worked very well.

Only three of the tennis matches could be played against Colgate, all of them going to Yale. The 1927 tennis team blanked Columbia Freshmen, 6 to 0.
