Although displaying improved play individually, the University lacrosse team went down to defeat at the hands of the powerful New York University twelve Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field by the score of 7 to 0.
The visitors displayed excellent coordination on the attack, and repeatedly pierced the Harvard defense for scores. It was a veteran aggregation that defeated the Crimson yesterday, because most of its men have been playing together during the last three years. Coach Herbert, however, continues to remain optimistic over the prospects for success in the remaining games.
