CLASS OFFICERS WILL TRY TO BOOST FRESHMAN FUND

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An effort will be made by representatives of the Freshman class to collect approximately $1500, the balance of a $4000 Freshman Fund next Tuesday when officers of the class, and members of the Finance Committee will be stationed in Sever Hall to receive contributions.

The drive this year was one of the most unsuccessful that any class during the past two years has had. Only $2500 was realized during the two weeks drive and since this amount is insufficient to defray the expenses of the class during the four years, a final effort will be made to get the desired sum. The failure of the drive thus far has been attributed to the fact that about 200 men have yet to be heard from on their subscriptions.
