Smith, Halls Quadrangle, decked with banners and lighted by strings of varicolored lanterns will be the scene tonight of the 1927 Freshman Jubilee. Beginning with the singing of the Hall Choruses at 6 o'clock, the party will last until 2 o'clock regaled by the strains of two dance orchestras.

Technically the Jubilee begins at 4.30, for after that time no one will be allowed to enter Smith and Standish Halls without tickets. Only the Boylston Street gateway will be open and there all students and guests will be required to surrender their tickets, receiving in return a tag which must be worn all evening. Canvas will be stretched from the northeastern corner of Standish Hall to the Freshman Athletic Building and from the Athletic Building to the corner to James Smith Hall, thus blocking off a large area, from which the usual parked cars have been removed, and this area will be lighted similarly to the Smith Halls Guadrangle.

Gore, Standish, and Smith Halls have each won the Hall Chorus trophy twice. Competition for supremacy will begin promptly at 6 o'clock; dinner will be served at 6.30 to the accompaniment of a concert by the Freshman Musical Clubs; the prizes for the winning chorus will be awarded at 7.15; and dancing will begin at 8 o'clock, lasting until 2 o'clock. This year no girls will be admitted after 11 o'clock, making it necessary to cut short all theatre parties. But Lowes Orchestra will play in the Common Room and Lossex's orchestra will play in the Dining Room.

In case of rain dinner will be served to the 350 girls and their escorts underneath a huge tent which will be ready for erection in the Quadrangle if necessary. Stage, in that case, will be asked to eat in Smith Halls Dining Room.
