Incensed at the news that 60 National organizations headed by the American Legion are banding to suppress radical thought, a small group of undergraduates met last night to discuss plans for forming a Harvard radical club to be known as "The Left Wing"
Original thought on national and world problems will be the keynote of the new organization. Party politics will nor form any part of its activities. In fact most of the leaders of the proposed Left Wing are opposed to parties and to the system as it works in the United States. Communists, Socialists, Anarchists and all other radicals in the college will be asked to join, provided only they are sincere in their beliefs. If is felt that the chief virtue of the new club will be opportunity for these various kinds of radicals to learn the opinions of other kinds of radicals, and above all to seek new and original solutions of human problems.
