SECONDS WILL ATTEMPT TO GET BACK WINNING HABIT TODAY

To Meet Wentworth Academy Nine This Afternoon on Soldiers Field

The Harvard second nine will try to get back in the winning habit this afternoon when it faces Wentworth Institute on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock in the first home game of the season. Cotter is Coach Stewart's most probable pitching choice, and the rest of the line-up will be unchanged except that Knowlton may be at third base in place of Mann.

Wentworth has a strong team and has won five games out of seven, losing to Andover 7 to 4 and to Dean Academy 9-2. Their victims include Noble and Greenough by a 14 to 0 score, Tufts seconds, B. U. Freshmen, and Allen School. Andover beat the Crimson seconds 7 to 2 and Dean showed its class by downing the Harvard Freshmen 7 to 3, so Wentworth's two defeats do not show lack of strength. Coach Stewart thinks, however, that his team has an even chance to win.
