The concluding bouts of the University fencing tournament fought yesterday in Hemenway Gymnasium, resulted in the completion of the sabre and epee contests. J. K. Watson 1L., who was runner-up in the foils competition on Thursday, won the sabre title, second place going to E. L. Laue '24. Lane was a member of this year's University team while Watson fenced on the team last year.
C. J. Shearn 1L. won his second title yesterday when he added the epee title to his foils championship. Goland Fleer '24 gave him the closest competition, winning second place ahead of H. E. Mitchell 1L., a former member of the Annapolis fencing team and of the Nave Olympic crew in 1920.
