The University will be well represented in the New England trials for the National fencing tournament, according to an announcement made last night. Burke Boyce '22, captain of the University team in 1922, who placed third in the tournament last year, is again entered. Captain E. h. Lane '24 and his brother, E. L. Lane '24, of the University team, with H. E. Mitchell 1L, and D. F. Cavers 1L, will also take part. Mitchell is a former Navy star and will probably enter the sabre tournament, while Cavers, ex-captain of the Pennsylvania team, will contend with Boyce and the two Lane brothers in the foils.

'These trials are to be held at the Boston Athletic Association on April 25 and 26. The winner and runner up qualify for the national tournament in New York on May 2. Captain E. H. Lane '24 qualified last year but was unable to take part in the finals.
