Ogden L. Mills '04 will speak in the Living Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock tonight under the auspices of the Republican Club. Louis A. Coolidge '83, ex-assistant Secretary of the Treasury, and at present connected with numerous political enterprises, will introduce Mr. Mills. Earlier in the evening Mr. Mills will be the guest of honor at a dinner given in the Club Room of the Union by the Executive Committee of the Republican Club. Representatives of the Graduate Committee will also be guests.
Although the meeting at 7.30 o'clock has been organized by the Republican Club, it is open to all members of the University regardless of their membership in either the Republican Club or the Union. Due to the fact that the undergraduate body of the Republican Club alone numbers over 500 in membership, besides a large membership among the graduate students and the Faculty, the attendance is expected to be large.
The speaker, Mr. Mills, has been a prominent members of the Republican Party for 15 years. Defeated for Congress in 1912, he was elected to the New York Senate in 1914 and 1916. After the war, in which he served with the A. E. F. in France, he was elected a member of the sixty-seventh Congress.
