With its morale strengthened by the rout of Huntington on Wednesday, the 1927 baseball team will meat the Dean Academy nine at 3 o'clock this afternoon on the Freshman Diamond. The Crimson will put its full strength on the field and with Gates on the mound, should be ready to make the visitors go the limit to win.
Coach Davidson has chosen the former Milton twirler to oppose Dean this afternoon. Gates has a perfect record so far, being credited with two wins in his two starts. Phelps will again be at third base where he has made himself so useful that Coach Davidson will not be likely to call on him to pitch soon again except in an emergency. Tobin has clinched his position behind the bat and the team as it will line up today will present its full strength.
