"The report is absolutely without foundation" said J. C. McGlone '26, when questioned by a CRIMSON reporter about the accuracy of recent newspaper announcements which have asserted he was through with athletics for all time as a result of serious injury to his knee.
"Dr. Richards is having a special brace made for me", he continued, "which will strap above and below the knee, and give it adequate support. I fully expect to play baseball before the season is over."
McGlone twisted his knee very severely while sliding in practice recently, thus aggravating an old football injury. His loss would be a severe handicap to Harvard athletics, for he earned his numerals in three sports last year, and has already won his "H" in football this year.
