8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
A traditional custom of the Harvard Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa may be resumed this year according to an announcement made last night by G. G. Dolphin '24, undergraduate secretary of the organization. A spring dinner, held in May, with such elaborate preparations as the appointment of special orators and poets for the occasion, was the custom for years until it was given up during the war.
The president of the University was the principal speaker at these dinners and prominent men were always present. Dolphin said that a revival of this custom this year will be quite likely if enough support for the plan is found among the members.
Plans for the annual baseball game with Yale Phi Beta Kappa chapter are being completed and the game will probably take place on June 10.
