In the opening game of the 1924 season, the University lacrosse team will meet, this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock on Soldiers Field a picked aggregation of stars of former Crimson teams. Following the game Coach Herbert will name the 15 men who will leave Cambridge tomorrow on the vacation trip.
During the first three days of next week, the Crimson men will practice with the Syracuse University team at Syracuse, during which time Coach Herbert plans to add the finishing touches to the condition of the men and their formation work. On Thursday occurs the severest test of the season, the game with Hobart, and on Saturday the Cornell match, against a powerful Red and White team which includes five of the Ithacan major sports captains.
