The organization of the Bell System was discussed last night at Harvard Hall by Mr. D. S. Bridgeman of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company. He pointed out the need for looking into the future to foretell what the American people would want; the maintainance of proper contact with subscribers; the development of metheds of administrative control; and the fact that although the business was enormour,, it was so divided into smaller units that a novice would not feel lost.
