Basketball teams to represent each class in the College were organized at Hemenway yesterday afternoon at a meeting of men interested in playing an interclass series.
Mr. Kelly, who will be in charge of the series, appointed a manager for each team, and outlined plans for the next few weeks.
Games are to be played twice a week, the first being staged next Wednesday afternoon, when the Freshmen meet the Juniors, and the Sophomores clash with the Seniors. A second doubleheader, with Freshmen vs. Seniors and Sophomores vs. Juniors, is on the boards for the following afternoon.
It is planned to have each team play at least three games with each of the other teams before the series is terminated. Any undergraduate interested in basketball, who was unable to attend yesterday's meeting, may still enter the series by reporting before the first game Wednesday.
The initial games in the Graduate Schools' basketball series will be played Tuesday afternoon, with games between the Graduate School of Education and 1 Business, 1 Law and 3 Law, and 2 Law and 2 Business.
