The response of the Senior Class to the 1924 Class Fund has been most encouraging according to the Class Treasurer. To date over $100,000 in endowment insurance has been taken out by about 350 men. Since approximately 250 members of the Class have not get been heard from and since 125 others have promised to contribute within the next few years, there is good reason to believe that the final total will reach $150,000.
The initial step of the campaign has been successful. The real crisis will not be passed, however, until it is proved beyond all question that those who have signed up for insurance are going to pay promptly their first instalment, and in future years, their annual premiums. No matter how much insurance is taken out, failure to pay the premium obligations during the next 25 years will bring disaster to the entire project.
