A. C. BICKFORD APPOINTED TREE ORATOR FOR 1924 CLASS DAY

George Pierce Baker Jr. '25, of Cambridge, has been chosen Junior head usher, and Albert Conde Bickford '24, of Pelham, New York, Tree Orator, according to an announcement of the 1924 Class Day plans made yesterday. The arrangements for the exercises in Sanders Theatre, the Stadium, and the Yard, are under the general supervision of the head usher for Class Day. He also appoints the assistant head ushers, and all ushers who aid him in carrying out the details for the day.

The Tree Orator delivers the speech which is given annually on Class Day near Holden Chapel. Only members of the Senior class are permitted to hear it.

The competition for words to the Baccalaureate Hymn, which is open only to Seniors, has been extended to Friday, March 28, because up to the present time only two compositions have been received. Competitors are expected to leave their compositions with K. S. Pfaffmann '24, at Holworthy 2, before 8 o'clock on Friday evening.

The Committee also announced that James Lloyd Berrall '24, of Washington, D. C., and Richard Foster Howard '24, of Cambridge, were the winners of the competition for the designing of the Yard, Stadium, and Memorial Hall tickets.
