In the first meet of the season for the first Freshman fencing team in the history of the sport at Harvard, the 1927 fencers defeated Andover by the score of 7 to 2.

Franklin Hollis '27 defeated Kohler (A) (captain) 5-4; Linson (A) 5-1, and Samper (A) 5-1.

John Winder '27 defeated Kohler (A) 5-1, Linson (A) 5-4, and Varian (A) 5-3.

Kendall Foss '27 defeated Linson (A) 5-4; Kohler (A) defeated Kendall Foss '27 5-1; Samper (A) defeated R. D. McMullen '27 5-4.
