For the first time in many years, the University is not represented by a gymnastic team. In past years, it has been one of the most successful of minor sports against Yale, but this year, lack of interest has prevented the formation of a team, according to Hans Neudorf, last year's coach.
After Andover, Exeter and other preparatory schools gave up the sport, the interest in gymnastic work has steadily waned. No plans have been made for a revival next year but the management has announced that as soon as sufficient enthusiasm is found, the team will be re-organized.
