As a result of last night's Freshman debating trials, at which 12 men spoke, the following nine men have been picked to compose the final squad: D. R-K, Barnes, D. W. Chapman, J. R. Cherry, J. R. Creel, J. F. Davison, L. S. King, F. J. Otis, E. W. Rovere, E. I. Wallach. Of these men, six will be speakers at the triangular debate with Princeton on April 5, and the other three will either be alternates or will be dropped, according to the quality of their work.
The squad foregathers tonight to begin the preparation for the debate, the wording of which will be: "Resolved: That the provisions of the Platt Amendment for Cuba should be now applied to the Philippine Islands."
