CORDINGLEY'S WRIST MENDS SIX WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME

R. F. Cordingley '25, rated as one of the foremost University pitching prospects, surprised Coach Slattery yesterday afternoon by appearing at the baseball cage ready for active work. Cordingley broke his wrist some weeks ago and his physician predicted that he would be unable to play until May 1. The injured member has healed more rapidly than expected, however, and is now strong enough for him to commence pitching.

Cordingley did not don a uniform yesterday, but he is expected to do so today or tomorrow. The coaches await his appearance with some anxiety as to whether his injury will impair his effectiveness as a twirler. If he regains first-class condition, he should be a material help in solving the pitching problem.
