When the gong rings for the final 135-pound bout in the University boxing championships, one of the contestants is sure to be P. E. Pieris, 1G, according to Coach Shevlin, who leclared he is a "natural born boxer."

Pieris, a native of Ceylon, before coming to the University, was a student at Cambridge University, England, where he received his degree, last June. While there he was champion of the University for three years, winning against to Oxford representative his last two years.

For all men intending to participate in the boxing preliminaries next Wednesday Coach Shevlin has especially emphasized the necessity of seeing Dr. Parmenier in Wadsworth House at 2.30 o'clock either today or tomorrow for physical examinations.

At 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon all men will weigh in and assemble at Hemenway gymnasium.
