A prize of $250 for the best thesis on the subject "Methods of Acquiring Open Spaces Seasonably "has been offered by the American City Planning Institute of New York City. The competition is open to students of universities and colleges giving instruction in city planning, and to graduates of not more than three years standing.

The thesis must be completed and mailed on or before May 25, 1924 to Flavel Shurtleff, secretary, 130 East Twenty-second street, New York City.
