"'You and I' is the product of a cultivated mind admirably schooled by the 47 Workshop" is the opinion of the leading man, Mr. H. B. Warner, concern the Harvard 1922 Prize Play. "It is an artistic masterpiece written for intelligent people."

Mr. Warner takes the part of a married man of about 43. "One of the most amusing things that has happened during my connection with this play is the numerous letters I have received from young friends protesting at my playing the part of and 'old' man. A man of 40 to them is about 15 years older than one of35."

Even though the love story is very slight and centers about an 'old' couple, the play has received enthusiastic response, particularly in New York. Chicago, and Boston." The CRIMSON reporter asked Mr. Warner if he found a Boston audience cold, "They are just as easy to play to as any other audience. We gave performances at several smaller towns, but the play went right over the people's head."
