PERRY JOINS LOWESL INVITES BOOKS IN "ENGLISH 41" EXAM.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Follwoing closely the precedent set by Professor J. L. Lowes G. '03, Professor Bliss Perry announced today to his class in English 41 that students might bring books and papers to the hour examination on Saturday.

Professor Perry's contribution to the mechanics of the experiment is his system of marking. On this test he will not use the old alphabet method of scoring, but will grade only with an "S+", "S" and "S--", standing for above average, average, and below average.
