For the first time in its history, the School of Business Administration will graduate a mid-year class this week. This class, numbering 23 members, entered the School in February entering group was introduced.
The February-to-February two year course was undertaken at that time as an experiment. On Saturday the Business School announced that it has adopted this new departure as a permanent feature of its policy.
The three classes which have entered since February, 1922, have shown a rapid increase in size. The original class contained 23 members, the 1923 class 36, while the class which came in two weeks ago numbered 61 students.
The new policy has been adopted chiefly for two reasons. It allows men leaving college in February to proceed with graduate study without interruption, and it makes possible the fullest utilization of the School's limited facilities through the replacement of men who have been dropped from the September class.
