The Crimson Freshmen will seek to avenge the defeat of their football team when the yearling sextet clashes sticks with the Eli first year men at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Boston Arena. The game promises to be the hardest on the 1927 schedule.
The fact that the Harvard aggregation has come through its season unscathed is not such an advantage as it would seem. Yale has suffered one defeat, a 2-1 game with Princeton, it is true, but only after a tooth and nail struggle which so weakened the Tiger cubs that they were defeated 3-1 by St. Paul's School the next day. The injury and consequent disability of F. F. Robinson, star forward, in the game which the Elis took from the same St. Paul's sextet, dismayed the Blue followers for a while, but with Armstrong substituting at left wing, the Yale men uncorked new power and defeated the Dartmouth Freshmen 7-1 on Wednesday.
