PUDDING BEGINS SHOW WORK TODAY--PLOT STILL SECRET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first reading of the Hasty Pudding play will take place at the Pudding clubhouse this afternoon at 5 o'clock with B. S. Cogan '23 in charge. All the men tentatively cast by Coach Silvers are expected to attend, and any other eligible club members are invited, as there is still an opportunity for them to gain places in the cast.

Coach Silvers will return to Cambridge on March 1 and the rehearsals will begin in earnest on that date. Until then there will be only reading of the parts and a narrowing down of prospective candidates.

The name of the production has been selected, but the committee in charge has chosen to keep it shrouded in mystery for the present. It was also announced last night that the plot is of such an unusual and original nature that it is not feasible to divulge it.

There is one change in the itinerary. The Providence performance scheduled for April 23 has been omitted.
