WORKSHOP TURNS TO MYSTERY FOR MOTIVE OF COMING PLAY

"Beyond the Circle" Is Title--Design Competition Now Open

A mystery play entitled "Beyond the Circle" will be the next presentation of the 47 Workshop.

The play is by William Chapin Jackson '22 of Darien, Conn., a student in the graduate school. It is a three act mystery drama, the setting of which is in Arizona. Two private performances of the show will be given on March 14 and 15 at Agassiz House.

Copies of "Beyond the Circle" may be read at the Workshop office in Massachusetts Hall by men who wish to enter designs in the competition for the sets, which is new open. This competition is open only to members of Fine Arts 28a, and to students who are taking work with Mr. Henry Hunt Clark at the Boston Art Museum. All others wishing to compete must consult Professor Arthur Pope '01 of the Fine Arts Department.

Model settings will be submitted to the 47 Workshop office on or before Thursday, February 28.
