DEAN BRIGGS WARMS IN PRAISE OF LEE

Doubts Whether "There Is Any One at Harvard Who Knows as Much About Student Life as Dr. Lee"

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In commenting on the recent resignation of Dr. Roger I. Lee '02, Dean Briggs has nothing but praise for the Doctor and nothing but regret at his coming departure. "It will be a tremendous loss to Harvard," he said yesterday when questioned by a CRIMSON reporter. "He has been invaluable to the College in discussions of student affairs.

"He is one of the best men we ever had on the Committee on Athletics. He and his well-chosen helpers have done remarkable work with prescribed athletics for Freshmen. He seems always to secure the right people to assist him.

"His knowledge of student life is extraordinary in that it is both comprehensive and minute. He is a discerning and wise adviser to individual students. I doubt whether there is any one at Harvard who knows as much of student life as Dr. Lee does."
