SINGERS BALK AT MERGER WITH INSTRUMENTAL, CLUB

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

According to the sentiments expressed last night by Dr. A. M. Wright '17 the proposed amalgamation with the University Instrumental Club has not been officially approved by the 1926 organizations.

"The problem is one that affects the whole University," he said. "That the union will go through is unlikely in the face of the stiff opposition it will encounter. For any singing organization to travel with the Instrumental Club will reflect on the University Glee Club, whose high reputation is jealously guarded, since confusion of the two bodies in people's minds is inevitable."
