Cowles, Maher, Field, Debevoise Win Positions on 1924-25 Cabinet--New Officers Take Hold at Easter

B. F. Rice-Bassett '25 was chosen president of the Phillips Brooks House Association in the annual election held yesterday at which a total of 161 ballots were cast.

The newly elected officers will assume their duties immediately after the Easter recess with the exception of the treasurer, who does not take office until the beginning of the fiscal year, June 1. The retiring officers will make their reports for the year at the annual meeting.

The officers were elected as follows:

President

Benjamin Franklin Rice-Bassett '25 of New York City.

Vice-President

Gardner Cowles Jr. '25 of Des Moines,

Secretary

John James Maher '26 of Bridgeport, Conn.

Treasurer

Richard Hinckley Field '26 of Phillips, Me.

Librarian

George Douglas Debevoise '26 of New York City.
